Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Game Developer to join our innovative team at Nex3 Inc. As a Game Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality mobile games that captivate our players. Your expertise in game development, programming languages, and problem-solving will contribute to the success of our projects.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the game design team to conceptualize and develop engaging game mechanics and features.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for game development using industry-standard programming languages (e.g., C++, C#, Java).

• Implement game functionality, including player controls, Ai behavior, mathematics, and user interfaces.

• Optimize game performance for different platforms and devices.

• Debug and resolve technical issues, including crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in game development and apply them to enhance our games.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, designers, and QA testers, to ensure smooth integration of assets and features.

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to improving the overall development process.

• Maintain project documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and development schedules. Experience in working with Git is a plus!

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in game development (e.g., C++, C#, Java).

• Solid understanding of game development principles, including game mechanics, physics, and AI.

• Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and related tools.

• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Familiarity 2D and/or 3D graphics programming and rendering techniques. Experience in text-based adventure games is also a plus!

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Passion for gaming and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
